Kickoff to Fall

We started my absolute favorite season with a bang! It was raining all day yesterday but we decided to go to this corn maze/farm place that we had a Groupon to anyway, hoping the rain would stay away. I'm so glad Tami talked me into going. It had cooled off a little and we were the only ones there for a long time. It was nice to practically have the place to ourselves. We had a fantastic time and I really really can't wait for the rest of our fall plans in the next few months!

Trying to get through the maze. We were SO lost for about an hour and I guess we just kept going around and around the same places because it took forever to get through the first part.

We finally made it through! It was pitch black when we got through but we did it!

Horses!!

Addison's friend had her birthday party yesterday at a horse farm. She's been excited about it for months and she had a blast. I was a little worried about taking Cooper because I wasn't sure how he'd react but Phillip had to work so I had no choice. I'm glad I did. He loved it! He went right up to one when we got there and started petting him and saying "soft". It was cute. He got a little nervous of them as the day went on but he still had a great time.

He loved the bunnies too. All throughout the party he kept going back to them.

They both loved feeding the horses too. They kept getting scared and dropping the food but they eventually got the hang of it.

He wasn't getting close enough for the horse to grab it so...

I had to help him out a little. He got a little scared ; )

Cooper's turn! He was so excited to get on it. He kept saying "giddyup horsey" and rocking back and forth trying to get him to move. So cute!!

My old man of a husband finally turned 30 yesterday! I can't believe I'm married to a 30 year old. When I was in college, 30 just seemed SO old. He's actually happy he's 30 now. He says it gives him more credibility now when he's talking to his clients. He's not such a young'n anymore.

The only thing he asked for was a Dirt Cake since he doesn't really like traditional cake/frosting. It was so easy so I was happy to oblige!

Our friends and us went to Emerald Pointe, an awesome water park last week and we had a great time. It's nice to get to feel like a kid (without the kids) once in a while
