Strawberry Picking

For Family Home Evening we went to the strawberry farm right by our house to pick berries.  The kids love doing this and I love all the berries!  We ended up with about 12 pounds, WAY more than we needed but the kids just really wanted to fill their buckets to the top.  Can't say no to them sometimes!  It was beautiful weather and I can't wait to do it again next year so Haven can help!

Fathers and Sons

About a month ago, Phillip took Cooper to the wards Fathers and Sons campout.  Cooper had been talking about this for 2 weeks and was so excited to go.  It did not disappoint!  He loved going out on the kayak with Phillip, sleeping in the tent, making smores and eating breakfast with everyone the next day.  He told me all about for a week afterward.  It was super cute.  Just some pictures from the campout!

When we went food shopping, he specifically picked out these teddy grahams to take.  Phillip said he practically ate the whole box there.

Haven's Baby Blessing

We had Haven's blessing at church today.  It went really well and we had a great day.  My parents, our friends Jared and Tami, and Phillip's sister's family, mom and brother were able to come.  Phillip's other sister was blessing her new baby in Myrtle Beach too so the rest of his family stayed for that.  Haven and their baby are only a week and a half apart!  During the blessing, Haven didn't cry at all and was wide awake and super quiet for the rest of the meeting.  She's SO good!  I'm so grateful for that everyday!  

My mom, Haven and I.  The dress Haven is wearing was actually my mom's blessing dress.  She wore it, I wore it, Addison wore it and now Haven.  I LOVE that it has been passed down and I hope my girls can use it for their daughters'.

After the blessing, Phillip's family headed back to our house for lunch and to hang out for a while.  It was so nice to spend some time with them.  The kids loved it and were sad to see them go.  I think they loved all the extra attention! ; )  I'm so glad her blessing day went so well and we were able to spend time with our family and friends!

We went to a Kiwanis Kids appreciation event yesterday with free pizza, ice cream, raffles, crafts, bounce houses, and face painting.  The kids had a blast and we had a great time enjoying the nice weather with them. Plus, we always love free events!

Just a few pics of the kids getting their face painted.  Cooper wanted a dragon and Addison wanted a rainbow princess face.  As usual.  She always gets the same thing for some reason but she always looks cute!

1 month old!

I know it's so cliche but I really can't believe how fast this month has gone.  I literally feel like we just got home from the hospital a few days ago.  I can't even remember where the days have gone.  It  is amazing to me how much time I spend feeding, changing and just holding her.  It's crazy!  Between the 3 kids, we've had a ton of doctor appointments, a dentist appointment, a doctors appointment for me and other various things we've had to do.  It's just been such a blur.  Addison's also been tracked out for the past 3 weeks so its been an adjustment having all 3 kids home full time.  Luckily we've had extremely nice weather so the big kids have played outside a lot.  Haven is still doing great.  I don't feel like she's changed much at all actually since she was born.  She's still eating every 3-4 hours and getting up twice a night.  She still spits up quite a bit although its not really a surprise to me  since Addison and Cooper were both heavy spitters.  Ive just learned to keep a bib on her pretty much  at all times.  She was just weighed today and is at 7 pounds, 13 ounces so she's gained a pound and a half this month.  I was originally worried she wasn't gaining enough because she was spitting up so much but it hasn't seemed to be a problem.  She's still a peanut though.  Still in newborn diapers and clothes.  I only had 4 newborn outfits though and I'm a little sick of them by now so I've been putting her in 0-3 month clothes but she's swimming in them.  Hopefully they'll fit soon!  The big kids still LOVE her so much.  They just love being around her, staring at her, asking to hold her, asking to feed her, etc...  Anytime she is in the swing, the kids will just sit on the floor next to it and watch her in it.  I'm so glad they love her so much!  It's been a blur but she's just as sweet as can be and isn't really fussy at all.  She seems to like the noise in the house and loves looking at everyone.  We all love her!
