Quin!!!

My kids have been asking for 2 years when Quin was coming home so they were beyond excited when the day finally came.  Addison especially could.not.wait.  They wanted to make him posters and said they were going to scream like crazy when they saw him.  And they did!

About 24 hours after he came home, we of course went to a Canes game. Family tradition!!

We're all soooo happy to have him home.  Even if its only for a few weeks before he starts school again!  5 days later, Quin was back at the airport to welcome home his best friend from his mission and Addison went along since she was sleeping over for her grammy date.  Love this picture of them!

January Randoms

This is what my crazy husband pretty much looked like every single Sunday in January.  His precious Green Bay Packers kept getting farther and farther into the playoffs...and then they lost the game before the Super Bowl.  He was crushed.  Maybe next year!

While Phillip and Ashlee were very involved in their football games, I caught Cooper showing Haven how to play with the magnatiles.  It was soooo cute!  He's such a good big brother.

Slipper party!  Totally random but the kids thought it was fun.

Once a month, Zaxbys has a kids night where they have different characters come and kids get free meals.  We had never been but when Anna and Elsa were signed up to come, we of course had to go, no questions asked.  The kids were beyond thrilled.  They kept standing up to look at them while we were eating and Haven kept singing "Let it Go" in her tiny little voice.  She was super excited to see them. She didn't actually want to touch them but she was happy they were close, haha.  I suspect this is how she will act with all the characters on the Disney cruise in a few months but I'm hoping that by the end of the week, she'll warm up to them!

2015 U.S. Figure Skating Championships

My mom got us tickets to the Ladies Final in the U.S. Championships last week.  It was only an hour and a half away in Greensboro and I was soo excited.  We loved watching skating together during the Olympics so this was especially cool.  Even cooler was the fact that we had 2nd row seats directly behind the judges.  We had an amazing view!  It was so interesting to watch just the skating with no commentary, no feedback, just quiet.  It was a great experience. 

I wish I had brought my regular camera but all I had was my cell phone.

Courtney Hicks

Ashley Wagner, she won 1st place! And while I'm not the biggest fan of hers, I did love her routine especially because she used music from Moulin Rouge.
