Lots of Snow!

We actually got some snow in December and definitely more than just a dusting! It started around 8 last night and it's still snowing now at 4 in the afternoon. We've gotten about 6 inches so far and we're supposed to get a little more. Addison couldn't wait to go play in it so around 9 this morning, we got all bundled up to check it out. Cooper didn't really like it, especially when it got in his face but he stuck it out for about an hour. He especially liked being pulled in the sled, except when he fell out ; )

Christmas!!

Christmas time! I feel like it came on SO fast even though we had our tree and decorations out in November. We had a great time and it has been great having my brother's and their wives here for a few weeks. We've had a great few days and I'm kind of sad it's over now!

Cooper was actually ok at opening presents by himself. It took him FOREVER to do it but he got excited every time he ripped a piece of paper off, even if it was super tiny. It was really cute.

Tis the Season!

Just a few pictures of what we've been up to this holiday season! We've had a busy and very fun month doing lots of festive things!

Phillip's brother's family came down for a visit so we took them to our neighbor's house that goes crazy with their lights. It's extremely tacky but the kids love it and it's fun to see the lights every night.

Tiny snow day! We just got a light dusting but it was fun for the kids to see.

Random one of Cooper during breakfast. I have absolutely no idea why he was so tired after only being up for a little while but he definitely was!

We did gingerbread houses for FHE one night and Addison LOVED it. I got 2 kits from Target last year after Christmas for $1.25 so they've just been sitting in our attic for the past year. Totally gross but they actually worked perfectly and weren't nasty at all. I put the frosting on wherever Addison wanted me to and then she decorated it by herself. I'm actually impressed at how she did it. She was trying to copy the picture on the box.

This is the Phillip's house. I LOVE it! I especially love the icicles. It comes complete with a hot tub, chimney and pepermint snowman. Cute!

Sitting pretty with Santa at my dad's work Christmas party. She loved him and couldn't wait to tell him what she wanted for Christmas. "A grumpy bear, a jar of pickles and luggage". Santa said he had never heard of someone asking for a jar of pickles before. He thought that was pretty funny!
