So as you can see, it has been a very eventful past few days. We got Addison up early yesterday morning to give her the trampoline and we had decorated her playroom, which she thought was awesome. She played on the tramp pretty much all day and was exhausted by bedtime. Then today was her party with all of her friends. She wanted a Dora party so that's what we did and she loved it. We also went to Monkey Joes, this place with a ton of huge inflatable bounce houses and the kids had a great time. She is such a jumping bean. Then we went back to the house for cake, ice cream and presents. She got so much stuff plus a dollhouse that I couldn't really get a good picture of so she's been playing with everything for the rest of the day. She had a great time with all of her friends and didn't even have a major meltdown so it was definitely a success! I'm kind of sad it's over because I still can't get over the fact that she is 3!!!

I honestly can't believe that Addison is 3 years old today! I was watching the video of the day she was born and it really doesn't seem that long ago. She was so tiny and quiet and cute! Her delivery was so fast and easy that I was just so excited to see her and it was definitely worth the wait. She has grown up so fast and we love her so much! She is such a talker and always has so much energy that it takes all of mine just to keep up with her. We are so lucky to have her! Happy Birthday Addison!!!

One of Phillip's clients sent Addison a birthday card with $25 so I told her we could go pick out a toy at WalMart. Whatever she wanted as long as it was under $25. We seriously looked for 45 minutes before she saw the basketball hoop and went crazy over it. Her cousin in Myrtle Beach has one and she played with it at Christmas and loved it so she was excited to have one in her playroom!

A Nice, Warm(er) Day

It's been so cold here lately (well, cold for NC) that it was so nice to get out today when it was 65 and sunny! We were finally able to get to the park and play in our yard for a while. Addison's been dying to ride her bike that she got for her birthday last year. She didn't really get the hang of it last year so we're trying it again this year. She did a lot better. Actually had some movement down the driveway so that's improvement! Apparently we're supposed to get snow in the next few days so I'm glad we were able to take advantage of the warmer weather!

Potty Training!!

Yea! She's finally doing it. She's finally going on the potty by herself. About 5 months ago, we decided to start potty training and she did great for about a month and then she pretty much refused to go after that. I was actually ok with it because it was so time consuming and I would have to drop everything I was doing to go take her that second, about 20 times a day so I was ready for a break. Well, last week she randomly wanted to go again so we took her and she went and has been going ever since. We even put her in regular underwear, which by the way is so cute! She's only had 3 accidents and she's doing really well. We didn't know where she was yesterday and then we found her a few minutes later coming out of the bathroom saying she went potty all by herself. She even had regular underwear during church today and she didn't have a single accident. Her nursery teacher said she went twice. Awesome! It's been so much easier this time because SHE actually wants to do it instead of me forcing her. It's so cute to see her starting to become more independent. She's growing up so fast! I can't beleive she'll be 3 in 2 weeks!!!
