My baby girl is 9 months today! Happy New Year! This month has been a really big one for her. She has learned so many new things, it's crazy. She has really started crawling in the past few weeks, picking up speed every time. I love watching her do it. She also learned how to clap and pretty much claps at everything. It's very cute. She especially claps at Yo Gabba Gabba we recently discovered much to my disappointment. Cooper LOVED that show and I was so happy when he finally grew out of it but it came on after another show the kids were watching and she fell in love immediately. She squeals and dances and claps every time it comes on. She also learned how to point. She loves holding out her pointer finger and having us touch our pointer finger to it. She must think it's a fun game ; ) She also learned how to pull up. Ugh. I now remember why I was never excited when the other 2 learned how to pull up and stand on stuff. She can pull herself up but she hasn't figured out how to get down. So when she is supposed to be sleeping, she will stand up and then just cry because she can't get down. Then we will go in and put her back down but she immediately stands up again because she wants to get out but she can't. So frustrating!! She is pretty cute when she pulls up on other stuff though :) Even when she was super little she has loved music. That is still true today. She will dance to ANYTHING. Even just saying the word dance, she will start to move to imaginary music. I love it! I can't imagine her learning much more than she did this month but we will see I guess. It's so fun to watch her do new things!
I'm glad that the picture above was the 2nd picture I took because as soon as I took it, she just wanted to stand up. Which is quite difficult on a rocking chair... : )
