Cooper's New Trick : )

Cooper's been cruising around for a few weeks and is now obsessed with standing. Pretty much anything he can grab on to, he is standing a few seconds later. He especially loves standing in his crib because he can jump on it. He thinks it's the funniest thing ever. I can't believe he's going to be 10 months tomorrow. He's growing up so fast, it's ridiculous! Addison loves playing with him and reading books and he loves her so much. He loves chasing her wherever she goes and playing hide and seek with her, although he pretty much does all of the seeking. He's going to miss her I think when she starts pre-school in the fall.

Just some recent pictures. Cooper LOVES his walker. He is so happy that he can actually get around now and loves to follow us everywhere. He's getting pretty good at it too!

We finally had a few nice days this weekend. It had been in the 100's for about 2 weeks and it finally cooled down a bit. We were definitely ready to take advantage of it! Cooper loves to play peek a boo with the window!

So Addison decided to dress Cooper up yesterday. I was cleaning the bathroom and I came back in to find this!. I didn't start dressing up my brothers until I was about 10 so she definitely has a head start. He was so cute about it. It didn't even bother him!

Addison started a little ballet/tap class at the community center today. She was SO excited about it. She loved picking out her outfit and slippers and has been asking for a week when it was time to go. She looked so cute! She did really well and actually paid attention to the teacher so that's always a plus. She can't wait to go again next week!

On the Move

The babe is finally on the move! He pretty much just slides wherever he wants to go. He'll get up on his hands and knees but then quickly falls flat and slides like a snake. It's so cute although I have to say that I was more then ready for him to START crawling and now I am more then ready for him to STOP. He's just trying to get into everything! Addison was excited at first too but now he pretty much just chases her wherever she goes trying to get whatever she is playing with so she's pretty much over it too. He's so cute though whenever he gets to where he was trying to go because he's just so happy with himself. He's just getting too big too fast!

4th of July Weekend

We had a busy and fun 4th of July Weekend. We spent Saturday at the lake and even got Addison to tube by herself. She only wanted to go "super slow". We were very proud of her for doing it by herself (even if we had to bribe her ;) She even wanted to go again and again.

I accidentally forgot Cooper's life jacket so we found another kids' size one but it was just a little big. : ) I don't think he was comfortable at all.

Phillip skiing with just 1 ski this time. It was the first time that he was able to do it without falling so we were pretty excited about that.

Saturday night we went to our town's fireworks. It was actually a lot of fun. They had huge inflatable slides, obstacle courses and bouncy houses. They even had a few kids rides and the best part was that everything was free. Then we settled down with our funnel cake and sno cones to watch the fireworks. We had a blast!

So Cooper had this crazy adorable smile that I LOVE to death. It pretty much takes up his whole face and shows his 2 little teeth. I love it so much! He's just so stinking cute!
