Preschool

The day is finally here! My big girl went to pre-school this morning! She has been waiting to go for a year. Talking about about it non-stop! She didn't even want me to walk her in. She just wanted to go by herself but she did make sure I would come back to pick her up. She looked so cute and I can't believe she's old enough to go. I have to say that I'm pretty excited for her to go too. I know she'll have a great time and I am going to have some alone time with Cooper a few days a week too. Going grocery shopping with just 1 child this morning wasn't half bad either!

11 Months

My big boy is only 1 month away from being a year old. It's so crazy! He's such a happy baby most of the time, it's just hard not to love him. (Not that I'm trying : ) He's pretty much crawling everywhere and pulling up on EVERYTHING. Mix that with hardwood floors and you get a lot of crying and bonked heads. He's still learning though. He's also been doing this HUGE smile thing and showing his jack-o-lantern teeth. Makes my heart melt!

1st Haircut!

So we finally had to cut Cooper's hair. It was way too long to do a mohawk and it was starting to curl in the back. Let me say that it was not at all easy. I didn't cut Addison's hair until she was 3 so she was pretty good at sitting still. This was a much different experience! He would not sit still if his life depended on it. It's a little jaggedy but it mostly looks good.

10 Months!

It is so crazy that Cooper is 10 months already. Just in the past week he has gotten so much bigger to me and is doing so much more. In the past few days he has learned to wave, clap, stand up and crawl up on his knees instead of just sliding. It seems like every day is something new with him. Also, his top 2 teeth have FINALLY come in and he has been a totally different baby. He had been so whiney all of the time but now he's been so happy and content just to sit and play. He is having some separation issues though and he hates being left by himself. If he doesn't see one of us, he immediately starts screaming. He's completely fine playing my himself just as long as someone is in the same room. He's such a sweet boy and is so much happier now that he can move and do some things he wants to do!

He was eyeing Addison's popsicle so I had to give him one. He just looked at it for a while trying to figure out what to do with it. It was so cute!

Cooper's New Trick : )

Cooper's been cruising around for a few weeks and is now obsessed with standing. Pretty much anything he can grab on to, he is standing a few seconds later. He especially loves standing in his crib because he can jump on it. He thinks it's the funniest thing ever. I can't believe he's going to be 10 months tomorrow. He's growing up so fast, it's ridiculous! Addison loves playing with him and reading books and he loves her so much. He loves chasing her wherever she goes and playing hide and seek with her, although he pretty much does all of the seeking. He's going to miss her I think when she starts pre-school in the fall.

Just some recent pictures. Cooper LOVES his walker. He is so happy that he can actually get around now and loves to follow us everywhere. He's getting pretty good at it too!

They had both just woken up from a nap and were still trying to wake up. They look so cute together!

We finally had a few nice days this weekend. It had been in the 100's for about 2 weeks and it finally cooled down a bit. We were definitely ready to take advantage of it! Cooper loves to play peek a boo with the window!

So Addison decided to dress Cooper up yesterday. I was cleaning the bathroom and I came back in to find this!. I didn't start dressing up my brothers until I was about 10 so she definitely has a head start. He was so cute about it. It didn't even bother him!
