Haircut finally!

I finally got a short haircut!! I've wanted to do it really short for a while but Phillip hates it too short. I just got SO sick of it and I never wore it down because it was too hard to deal with. I asked my friend Tami to do it since she's been trimming it for a while and it turned out so great. I LOVE it and it looks so much better and much more healthy.

For some reason it looks a lot more flat in this picture than it does in real life but looks good just the same. We took about 10 pictures trying to get it to look the same as it did in the mirror but for some reason it was just being weird. Anyway, I LOVE it and plan to keep it this length for a while. Beautiful 5 year old girl

Happy Birthday to my big girl! I truly can't believe she's 5. I feel like 5 is such a big birthday and milestone. Maybe it's because it's when she'll start school but she's just so big and she has such a personality! We love having her in our family!

She has been asking for her own luggage for MONTHS and really wanted one for Christmas but she didn't get one so my parents got her this one for her birthday. It is so stinking cute, I want one for myself. She LOVES it. She insisted on packing it before bed and keeping it next to her nightstand while she sleeps. Love her!

Princess Party

I finally got to do a princess party! I've thought about doing one since I found out I was having a girl and it was so fun! Addison couldn't make up her mind for the longest time about what kind of party she wanted so when a Groupon daily deal came up for a real princess to come to your party, I quickly bought the package. When I told Addison about it, she got so excited and said she definitely wanted to do that. She got to pick her plates, cake and party favors which as you can see are all "Tangled" related. She LOVED that movie. She talks about it daily. We had a great time and Addison loved having all her friends together.

Lots of Snow!

We actually got some snow in December and definitely more than just a dusting! It started around 8 last night and it's still snowing now at 4 in the afternoon. We've gotten about 6 inches so far and we're supposed to get a little more. Addison couldn't wait to go play in it so around 9 this morning, we got all bundled up to check it out. Cooper didn't really like it, especially when it got in his face but he stuck it out for about an hour. He especially liked being pulled in the sled, except when he fell out ; )
