Kickoff to Summer!

We had a great Memorial Day yesterday. A friend invited us over for the day so we got to go swimming, had a cookout and topped it off with Just Dance and Cranium. Perfect start to Summer!

Graduation Day!

My baby girl graduated pre-school today! I can't believe she's done already. It's been a quick school year! She was so excited to go today and had a great time. I asked her if she was sad that school was over and she said "no way, I'm ready to go to Kindergarten". Sigh...

By the way, her school is called "Little Hands Preschool"...hence the reason for the handprint shirts.

Virginia Trip

Phillip's brother's oldest daughter Abbie turned 8 last week so she was able to get baptized yesterday. We were so excited to go up to Virginia since it was the 1st time in a very long time that all of Phillip's family got together. We had a blast and it was really special to be able to see her get baptized all together as a family. Afterward, we went to this beautiful park right outside of Richmond for a picnic and it could not have been a more beautiful day.

My husband brag

So, I have to have a little brag on my husband. For Mother's Day, he picked out some amazing presents all by himself and let me say that I was very impressed. He was SO excited about what he got and kept telling me every day the week before Mother's Day that he wanted me to open them because he just couldn't wait. He did a great job. I love that he will actually pick out clothes for me because he really does know what I like so I've never really been disappointed in what he's gotten (except for some cat pajamas for my first birthday we were together ; )

Anyway, he picked out this dress,

I can't believe he actually coordinated everything together. Like I said, I was very impressed and I can see why he was so excited to give them to me!

He even wrapped it perfectly (which he was also very excited about) because he knows how much I love pretty wrapped presents

Strawberry Pickin Time!

I've been wanting to go strawberry picking for about 3 years and for some reason, we've never actually gone. It was such a gorgeous day so we finally decided to go. The farm is only about 5 minutes from our house and it was SO fun. They had a see-saw that the kids loved and some little animals too. Oh, and the delicious strawberries weren't bad either ; )

Easter!

We had a great Easter today. We actually did the baskets yesterday since it was going to be so crazy this morning but the kids didn't really care. Addison was just excited the Easter Bunny came early. She especially loved getting Tangled. She is so obsessed with this movie it's ridiculous!

My beautiful little girl. She's so grown up!

My brother in law Andrew and his family came to spend the weekend with us and we had a blast. The kids finally got to spend some time together and they pretty much played from morning to night both days. I wished they could have stayed longer but Andrew had to get back to school tomorrow. We were so glad we got to spend some time with them and I love that the kids get along SO well and have so much fun with each other.
