The weekend after Addison went camping with my dad, we did a family campout with our best friends. It's always a lot of work to go camping, but I really, really love going, which is strange because I'm not a huge outdoor person. I don't love bugs, being hot or eating in the dirt but I always have good memories camping as a kid and I think that's why I like it so much. It's one of the kids' favorite things to do too and I'm glad.

I'm really glad we have the kayak because the kids love taking it out by themselves and going with Phillip. Even Haven likes going out!
The girls were extremely tired when we got back. Love the sister cuddles!
