For Labor Day, we headed to a park by my parents house for a picnic and the park. We were supposed to go canoeing but it was WAY too hot for that. The kids were melting as it was.
After the park, the girls went to get pedicures done. Addison thought it was so fun and even got her own little kid chair.
Later that day, the kids watched Little Rascals with my parents. They have come to love that show and they think it is absolutely hilarious.
Since Phillip's birthday was the next day and we were already at my parents house, we decided to go out then instead. I took him to a Brazilian Steakhouse that he's been wanting to go to for forever. He misses this kind of food from his mission. It's super expensive so we certainly won't go there all the time but he LOVED it.
I had about 20 pieces of this pineapple. It was beyond delicious.
We had friends over on his actual birthday and did cake and ice cream.
He also got to give the kids his favorite brazilian soda that we bought at the restaurant. He was soo excited for them to taste it. I don't think any of them liked it. He was so disappointed!
