Tis the Season!

Just a few pictures of what we've been up to this holiday season! We've had a busy and very fun month doing lots of festive things!

Phillip's brother's family came down for a visit so we took them to our neighbor's house that goes crazy with their lights. It's extremely tacky but the kids love it and it's fun to see the lights every night.

Tiny snow day! We just got a light dusting but it was fun for the kids to see.

Random one of Cooper during breakfast. I have absolutely no idea why he was so tired after only being up for a little while but he definitely was!

We did gingerbread houses for FHE one night and Addison LOVED it. I got 2 kits from Target last year after Christmas for $1.25 so they've just been sitting in our attic for the past year. Totally gross but they actually worked perfectly and weren't nasty at all. I put the frosting on wherever Addison wanted me to and then she decorated it by herself. I'm actually impressed at how she did it. She was trying to copy the picture on the box.

This is the Phillip's house. I LOVE it! I especially love the icicles. It comes complete with a hot tub, chimney and pepermint snowman. Cute!

Sitting pretty with Santa at my dad's work Christmas party. She loved him and couldn't wait to tell him what she wanted for Christmas. "A grumpy bear, a jar of pickles and luggage". Santa said he had never heard of someone asking for a jar of pickles before. He thought that was pretty funny!

We have a friend in the ward that has started doing a little photography and offered to take pictures of the family since I have been wanting some nice ones for FOREVER. They turned out amazing and I am so grateful she was willing to do that. Hope you like them!!

Cooper's 1st Steps!!

Cooper finally took his 1st steps a few days ago on Thanksgiving! We are so excited about it and we love watching him do it. He definitely has balance issues but here's a few clips of him "walking" (and some falling ; )

Cooper has always been a fantastic eater. He will eat pretty much anything and as much as he can get. He just loves food. I caught him yesterday (right after dinner) munching on some cheerios that he got from the cabinet. All of the other ones are child-proofed but part of the cupboard is broken on this one so we can't lock it and he knows it ; )

So, I left an apple on the table for Addison since she doesn't like it cold right out of the fridge and of course Cooper got to it first. A few minutes later, half of the apple was completely gone and I couldn't believe that he ate that much of it since the thing is bigger than his hand. It was so cute so we just plopped him in the high chair and let him finish the rest. A half hour later, the entire thing was gone down to the core.
