Easter Eggs

We went to our friends house to dye Easter Eggs like we do every year. The kids love it. Of course I forgot my eggs because I've been having mental difficulties lately but luckily Tami made a ton. Cooper really got into it this year. It's so much fun as he gets older and really gets the stuff we do.

After seeing Addison eat an egg, Cooper wanted to try one but after one bite he had had enough. He was disgusted by the thought of eating another bite apparently.

I got a cute mold for jello jigglers and after a few messy ones, these came out pretty cute and the kids thought they were awesome.

Grandparent Visit Number 1

My grandparents came to visit last week and we had a lot of fun. I took Addison out of school an hour early so we could get some time at the park. It was a beautiful day and everyone had a great time.

More Randoms

Addison came home from school about a month ago and informed me a boy in her class said that on St. Patrick's Day a leprechaun comes and if you leave your shoes out, he'll put candy in them. I had never heard of that but but I thought I should just roll with it. I saw these on Pinterest and thought they were SO cute and they came out pretty good. The kids loved them.

Phillip's been training for a half marathon and he runs every morning and the kids love stretching with him when he comes back. Glad it's been warm lately.

It started raining really hard one Saturday and the kids just pulled their chairs right up so they could watch it. It was really cute.

Addison's been wanting to do this thing at the mall every time we go but it's like $7 which I feel like is crazy so I told her that if she saved up her money she could do it. She was super nervous at first but got into it after a minute or two. She really loved it. I think if she does it again she'll be much less scared about it.

Spring Pictures

My baby girl had her Spring pictures last week and I think they came out super cute! I couldn't decide which ones I liked better so I just got them all. I'm a sucker.

My boy and his new suit

Cooper already grew out of the suit I got for Christmas so I got a new one at the consignment sale last weekend. It had never been worn, still tags on it and was only $8! I love, love, love that sale ; ) Anyway, it's a little big but I'm glad it will last for a little while. I especially love the pinstripes. Love little boy suits!

Birthday Girl

Happy Birthday to my sweet baby girl!! I can't believe she is 6. Seems like time is speeding up because it doesn't seem like she should be this old already. Sunday night we blew up about 100 balloons and covered her bedroom floor with them. I've done this since she was 3 but somehow it's still always a surprise to her. It's cute how much she loves when we do this.

For her birthday breakfast she requested 6 chocolate donuts (because she's 6 of course) and chocolate milk. Luckily she only ate 2 before she was full.

I saw this idea on Pinterest and thought it was really cute. We hung 6 balloons from her door and put a dollar bill in each one and then she had to pop them to get them out. She was really excited about the money.

She was not so excited however about popping the balloons. It scared her to death and she wanted us to do it but I guess she eventually wanted the money more because she got them all.

Cooper wanted to reach the balloons so bad. Maybe next year!

Ever since Addison saw the Smurf movie she has wanted a Smurf birthday. Since we weren't having a party this year we at least got a Smurf cake. It was pretty cute!

New Easter dress from Grammy. The first thing she asked was if it twirls and then when she tried it on, it was the first thing she did. She's such a girly girl.

Getting a little help from her friends

She has been asking for a bike for a while since she outgrew her trike a long time ago. I kept telling her it was too big, too expensive, etc... so she was really excited to get it. Can't wait till it warms up a little to go for a bike ride.

She wanted to try it out right then but our house is way too small for that I guess because she didn't get very far.

Addison got out all of her Care Bears one day to have a party. She's super cute about her bears. She has about 5 more since this picture was taken. It's crazy how she is about collecting them!

They were watching a movie together in my bed. They are so cute together!

Grammy and Coop...Sweet!

It took about 3 hours to do all these Valentine's for Addison's class but it was a lot of fun. It took so long because Addison wrote all the "To" and "From" names and put on all of the stickers by herself. She said she wanted them to be perfect so she had to concentrate. It was really cute.

This is the reason she keeps asking for a little sister...oh brother!
