We had a really fun 4th of July this year. We started off the day by having a pancake breakfast at the church with our ward, which Addison loved because they had sprinkles and chocolate chips to put on the pancakes. We also had some friends over for dinner and the girls played in the pool for a while, while the adults played balloon toss volleyball which of course ended up in a balloon fight. We had planned to take Addison to the fireworks but some of our neighbors did their own and Addison didn't like them all that much so we figured we would just try again next year!

We went to Myrtle Beach this weekend for a business meeting Phillip had and we had a blast. We hung out at the pool and the beach ALL day Saturday and Addison had a great time. It was the first time she let us take her out into the waves and she loved jumping over them. After all was said and done, all she wanted to do was sleep and wouldn't wake up when we tried to take her to her pizza party but eventually, she got up and had a fun time with her friends.

Phillip set up Addison's pool on the deck and she LOVES it! She wants to go in it every single day so we're constantly filling it up. She especially loves the slide that's built into it.

We went to Myrtle Beach for Sarah's (Phillip's sister Shawna's new daughter) blessing a few months ago and am finally getting around to posting some of the pictures. We went on a big family picnic at a state park and then walked down to the beach for kite flying and playing in the sand. Addison also fell in the waves, fully clothed, which she thought was pretty funny although I didn't get a picture of it. We had a great time!

Kids' Rooms

Ever since we found out for sure it was a boy a few weeks ago, we've been wanting to get the nursery done. Right after we found out, Phillip insisted we drive straight from the doctors' to Lowe's to get paint samples. It was very cute. Anyway, Phillip painted it last Saturday and we've been working on getting everything else in there this week and it's done! I know it's way early and we still have 4 months until Cooper gets here but this is one huge thing off of our list of things to do so we're excited! I also took pictures of Addison's room that we did last year when we moved her to a big girl bed. We both absolutely love this room because it's just so girly and frilly. I never got to do a nursery with her because we were in an apartment so when I got to do a big girl room for her, I went girl crazy!

We had our big ultrasound this morning and it went great!  I was a little nervous just because I had been doubting it being a boy since the ultrasound was so early and wasn't sure they could really tell but it's definitely a boy!!  Everything else looked great and measured perfectly also. We got to see the 2 sides of his brain, the 4 chambers of his heart and just about everything else so it was a great appointment.  Phillip wanted to go right away to Lowes to get some sample colors for the room we're painting next month so that's next on our list!  We are so excited and so is Addison. She's been kissing my belly like crazy and she signed "I love you" with her fingers and put in on my belly.  It was so cute!!
