Hat Parade

Addison had a Spring Hat Parade at school so she had to make a hat with stuff that has to do with Spring.  She was really excited about it although I thought it was the most stupid project ever.  Obviously this was a parent project seeing as how I'm not going to let her hot glue things by herself.  We went to the dollar store and she picked out a hat and a few things to go on it.  She was pretty excited about how it came out.

Taking her first bath!!  She liked when we first put her in the water but as soon as we started scrubbing her she went nuts and screamed bloody murder the entire time.

AS SOON as she was wrapped in the towel, she fell asleep.  I guess it was pretty traumatic for her ;)

The many faces of Haven.  She makes the cutest faces!  I love watching her and I end up staring at her for hours at a time.  

1st ride in the stroller!  We had a picnic at the park with some friends last night.  She was wide awake most of the time.  I think she liked being outside!

Just a few pictures of baby girl from the past few days.  LOVE this girl. She is SO good. She sleeps pretty much all day and when she's awake she doesn't make a peep.  It's so strange since the other 2 kids just cried all day and Cooper didn't sleep well.  I find myself just staring at her for hours at a time.  It's nice to be able to enjoy the newborn stage for once!  Although my other 2 kids are so good now so I really can't complain!

I stood there for 15 minutes with the camera ready so I could capture a "smile".  She must be really gassy because she "smiles" all the time.  I love it.  I really wanted to get her cute little perfect dimples but it wasn't happening. Hopefully soon when she starts to smile for real.  

She's Here!!

Haven Elizabeth Passey is here!!  She was born on April 1st at 2:00 PM weighing 6lbs, 8 ounces and measuring 18 1/2 inches tall.  She's my littlest baby and we are SO in love with her!  She is so tiny and her facial features just look so small to me.  I cannot stop staring at her and I can't stand to put her down.  She slept almost all last night, barely waking up once to eat and other than than, we've had to wake her up since she just wanted to sleep.  She's been so mellow.  Doesnt even cry when we change her or the nurse checks her vitals, etc...She just looks around and takes it all in.  Here are just some pictures over the past few days in the hospital.

I'm so glad the kids got to visit in the hospital this time.  Addison couldn't come when Cooper was born because of the swine flu outbreak but luckily they could come this time.

I just love how awake she looks!!  She is the first child I've had that has had hair when they were born. And it's dark too!  Addison and Cooper both had little wisps of hair but they were both so blonde you couldn't even tell.

Hello!!

Addison came by after school today and she was just so excited to see Haven again.  She said "I knew she was going to be cute but I didn't think she'd be this cute"  It was super sweet.  Then she told me that she can play with any of her toys and use anything in her room.  I'm glad she is so excited!
