A Fun Fall Day!

My sister in law and her family were in town this weekend and we wanted to go the the same hayride/pumpkin place that we went to last year. The kids loved it and we had a blast. We had two more children then we did last year so that was kind of cool. Shawna wasn't pregnant with Benjamin yet and I had Cooper 2 days after we went last year. So much can happen in a year! Just some pictures of the day we had!

It was fun watching Cooper's reaction to the witches/ghosts/bats in the trees because they all moved and made sounds and he was totally enthralled with them

She wanted an "arm paint" instead of a "face paint" and she wanted balloons for Cooper's party later in the day

My Birthday!

So, as some of you may know, I am COMPLETELY obsessed with the Twilight Series. I have been for years. Well for my birthday, Phillip made me a Twilight cake. The night before, we went out to dinner at Outback and saw "The Social Network" with our friends. We didn't get home until 1:30 but Phillip wanted to make my cake so I could have it in the morning. He ended up staying up until 4 am just to finish it. I LOVED it! I couldn't believe he even did it since he absolutely hates the series. It came out SO good. I was very impressed! I had a great birthday and it kind of feels weird to be 27!

1st Birthday for my big boy!

My big boy is one!! I know everyone says it but I really can't believe how fast the time has gone. I was watching the video from when he was born and it honestly just seems like last month. He's such a big boy and not my little baby anymore. I was actually a little sad about it. When Addison turned 1, I was so excited but with Cooper, I know what's coming and I just want him to stay my little baby forever. I'm excited for all of his new milestones that will happen but I'm definitely going to miss his baby days.

He was super excited about his presents and actually realized that he was supposed to rip the paper off. Apparently he couldn't wait so he just ripped it with his teeth. It was too funny!

He was so sad his ball rolled under the changing table. He just sat there staring at it for about 5 minutes trying to figure out how he was going to get it.

Addison Swim Video

Addison's last swim class is next week so I figured I'd put together a last video of her classes. She has done really well and it's kind of crazy that she's done this well only swimming about 15 minutes a week. We've gone to a friends' pool a couple of this summer but other than that, the only swim time she gets is in her class. She been learning how to swim freestyle, with her arms and all of that lately. She's even able to swim the entire length of the pool completely by herself. They've taught her to roll to her back when she needs a breath or gets tired so that has definitely helped. In the last little clip, she was supposed to get the animal in the water but she just kept passing it without seeing it so she ended up being in the water for a LONG time by herself. It's kind of reassuring that if she gets tired, she knows what to do. We're really proud of her!

Gorgeous Fall Day

Yesterday we had a perfect weather day. 72 degrees and sunny w/ a breeze. Perfect!! We decided to go on a picnic and try to fly the kite at a nearby park. We had a blast!

Cooper loved the grass. He just keep grabbing it and feeling it in his hands.

So, Cooper loves cans, empty water bottles, ect...because of the sound it makes when he squishes it. So, he saw Phillip's EMPTY can and grabbed it and apparently he was thirsty! Too bad he couldn't get anything!

They finally got the kite up!

My handsome boy on Sunday

Addison went to a birthday party at a bounce house place and had a great time sitting on the "guest of honor" chair!

So, this is pretty much how every picture goes...Addison annoyed as heck and Cooper giving his biggest smile ever.

This is their favorite game. Cooper laughs like crazy trying to get Addison to come inside and she loves teasing him.

He hates when Addison goes upstairs and he can't follow. Luckily, he hasn't tried to make it past the first step.

I LOVE the way he sleeps. He's so cute and looks like he's just chillin.

Brenan and Shannon's Reception

Brenan and Shannon got married last Saturday and had a reception here on Monday after their Costa Rican honeymoon. We had a blast and a really yummy meal at one of our favorite places. Just a few pictures of the lunch!

SO tired from the past few days of late nights hanging out with my family while they were in town. He had even slept until 10 am that morning and still couldn't stay awake!
